The 3-phase pumping is unique that it is so gentle yet effective in extracting milk. I was using the Medela Symphony at SCBU and had rented one for a month before buying the Milkbar Double Pump. Getting the right flange size got us off to a great start and it ensured pumping was comfortable.

Honestly I’m floored by how good this pump is. When my first son was born we hired the medala hospital grade symphony for months costing a small fortune. I had super low milk supply as I had a breast reduction, premature birth, c section, haemorrhaging, and was not able to have contact with my baby for 3 days after his birth - so I worked very hard to get what I could.
When I got pregnant with my second I wanted to buy a pump but was very concerned about wether the pump would be as effective and powerful as the hospital ones as I knew I would have another premature baby with likely more similar complications to my first. I am SO pleased I gave this a try. Not only is it as powerful, but also more effective, more comfortable, & more convenient.

This pump is next level amazing, ths suction is truly hospital level - better than the ones I used while baby was in SCBU. Such a soft and practical pump and easy to use. Depending on how many times a day you are pumping - we recommend replacing your inserts 4-6 monthly.

Perfect pump. Really quiet and gets a lot more out compared to other brands I’ve tried., I got this as they were out of stock in my size on the portables but it worked out. Using the pumping bra I can put the machine in a pocket and carry on. I got this as I lost my really good supply as my baby wasn’t drinking enough but this pump saved the day.
Deep pockets on either side you can fit your phone and other bits and bobs in - doesn’t feel irritating against the leg.
